# A clinic website: the pages that actually bring patients from Google

> Patients search for a service, a doctor and a city, not "about us". The pages a clinic website must have to rank on Google and turn a visitor into a booking.

Search Google for "dental clinic in Riyadh" or "dermatologist in Buraidah". What comes up first is not the prettiest website; it is the website with a page that answers that exact question.

Most clinic websites we see are a single page: photos of the clinic, a word from the director, a list of services with one line each, and a contact number. That website serves the patient who already knows you and wants your number. It does not bring a new patient, because there is no page that matches what they searched.

This post is about the structure of a clinic website that ranks on Google and turns a visitor into a booking.

## How patients actually search

Patients do not search for your clinic's name (unless they already know it). They search for:

- **Service + city:** "orthodontics in Riyadh", "laser hair removal in Jeddah".
- **A problem:** "tooth pain after a filling", "acne treatment".
- **Doctor + specialty:** "female obstetrician in Qassim".
- **A question:** "how much is teeth cleaning?", "does insurance cover braces?".

Each of these needs a page that answers it. The home page cannot answer all of them, and Google does not rank a general page for a specific question.

## The pages that must exist

### A page per service

Not a list of services on one page. A full page for each main service: what it is, who it suits, how the session goes, how long it takes, what comes after, frequently asked questions, and a booking button. The "orthodontics" page has enough for the patient to decide to book, and Google understands that this page is specifically about orthodontics.

### A page per doctor

Name, specialty, qualifications, experience, the days they work, and a booking button for them specifically. Patients search by doctor name more than you would expect, especially for doctors who have moved between clinics.

### A page per branch (if there is more than one)

Address, map, hours, the branch number, the doctors there. Each branch gets its own Google Business Profile linked to its page, which is the subject of [Google Business Profile in Saudi Arabia](https://www.kerneltics.com/blog/google-business-profile-saudi).

### A prices or "how much does it cost" page

The biggest question and the least answered. If you cannot list fixed prices, list "from" prices or explain what determines the price. The page that says "contact us for pricing" loses the patient to the clinic that wrote a number.

### An insurance page

The accepted companies, what is usually covered and what is not, and how the patient can check. This page removes a lot of calls.

### The booking page

A button on every page leading to a booking page with doctor, day and time, or opening WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. Direct booking from the website is the point of every page above, and we explained the system behind it in [a clinic booking system in Saudi Arabia](https://www.kerneltics.com/blog/clinic-booking-system-saudi).

### Articles (optional but powerful)

Answers to the questions patients ask before the visit: "when do I need a root canal?", "the difference between LASIK and femto-LASIK". Each article brings a visitor searching for the problem before they know the solution, and that is the cheapest patient you can attract.

## What Google reads, and what has to be right

- **A title and description per page** containing the service and the city. Not "Home | Clinic Name".
- **Speed on mobile.** Most patients open from a phone, and a slow page is closed before it finishes loading. We explained how to measure it in [website speed](https://www.kerneltics.com/blog/website-speed-why-slow).
- **Content present in the page itself**, not loaded by code afterwards. This is where many modern clinic websites fail without knowing it. See [why your website is not on Google](https://www.kerneltics.com/blog/why-your-website-is-not-on-google).
- **Structured data** that tells Google: this is a clinic, this is a doctor, this is a service, these are FAQs.
- **The site in your name**, with the domain and hosting on your accounts. If the company that built it disappears, the site stays.

## The mistakes that ruin a clinic website

- **Heavy images** straight from the camera without compression. The most common cause of slowness.
- **Everything on the home page** with no inner pages.
- **Copied text** from other sites, or written generically. Google knows, and so does the patient.
- **A long contact form** instead of a WhatsApp button or direct booking.
- **Promises:** "the best clinic", "guaranteed results". They do more harm than good, and some are against the rules.

## From the website to the booking

The website is not the end of the journey. The visitor arrives from Google on the service page, reads, taps book, picks a time on WhatsApp or the site, and gets a confirmation and a reminder. All of that has to be one chain. A website that leads the visitor to a contact form that waits two days for a reply has lost half its bookings.

## The short version

A clinic website that brings patients is a site of pages, not a page: one per service, per doctor and per branch, a prices and insurance page, and a booking button everywhere. With the technical base done right (speed, titles, visible content) and a linked Google Business Profile.
